Mining Ship Disaster; 264 Lost to Space Yet again the death toll of the mining ship Perpetuity has risen causing some to speculate on the apparent inneficiencies in L2H Corporations onboard personnel management systems.
Borgon Bordis, safety representative for the rival Mutex corporation insists that if such an event occured on board one of their mining ships they would instantly know who had been caught up in affected areas and auto-deploy rescue pods (ADRPs) would be launched from docking stations no more than 120 metres from an affected area giving personnel a 35% higher chance of survival. Grievel Domscotch, the L2H safety manager says at the moment he is still investigating the cause of the explosion which ripped apart five decks on board "Perpetuity". Grievel said today "We are still evaluating data from the crafts flight recorders. At the moment we cannot understand why one of the SentryBots was offline when the explosion occured" A spokesperson from Cybercorp said this is just Grievel trying to save his own skin as SentryBots are self-repairing and would warn the central security unit of any problems to request a droid service bay. "To imagine a SentryBot just going offline is unthinkable. In the last seven generations we have never had one reported case" |
Cyberhythm To Release Next Album: "Cargo Hold 19". GN exclusive preview
Yes the adaptive-trio are all set to release a new album and we at GN managed to sneak into the studio with a microcorder to bring you this exclusive preview. Track 1 Track 6 Track 2 Track 7 Track 3 Track 8 Track 4 Track 9 Track 5 Tune in right now as we're not sure how long our outerworld legal team can fight off the injunction. Mining Widows Class Action Suit Bereaved families of those lost in the recent Perpetuity disaster have filed a class action suit against L2H Corporation in Washington following accusations of mismanagement and ignoring safety procedures which resulted in the loss of 264 miners when the ship suddenly exploded last week. Shalway and Cromford, the company representing the bereaved families have insisted that L2H must be brought to book over their safety procedures negligence. Gravity Offsetting Takes Off After the outworld government launches Gravity Offsetting regulations it looks like many corporations were unprepared for the schemes. Critics suggest that the system is flawed resulting in higher prices to leisure cruisers while corporations reap the benefits with their heavily subsidised enormous gravity-distorting mining ships |
